Story could be turned into film'

SEVERAL filmmakers could be set to turn the new book by Kevin Skelton into a film within the next couple of years.
The Drumquin man has said that there is a possibility of the book being adapted for the big screen.
"There is definitely the possibility that the book will be turned into a film. But at the moment it's still going to be some years away before that become a reality," he said.
"A number of filmmakers have expressed an interest. The thing is that they have a number of projects in the pipeline currently and it could even be 2013 before anything is done.
"I suppose that isn't really all that long and I'll be happy enough to see how things develop in that regard."
In the meantime, Mr Skelton will be a guest with Ryan Turbidy on the Late Late Show on RTE this Friday night.
Then, on Saturday, he will be signing copies of the book in the Carlisle Book Shop in Omagh.
