WINDOW OF HOPE UNVEILED TO MARK BOMB ANNIVERSARY
Window of Hope' unveiled to mark bomb anniversary

THE 11th anniversary of the Omagh bombing will be commemorated by the simultaneous unveiling of a beautiful stained glass windows in Omagh, Madrid, Buncrana and Claudy this Sunday.
The Window of Hope at Omagh Library has been kept under wraps whilst the artists completed their painstaking work but it will now be revealed at 3pm on Sunday.
This has been a project organised by the Shared City Project and supported by Omagh Support and Self Help Group.
Families who have been affected by the Claudy and Omagh bombs have been working on the design of the window over the past few years to ensure it symbolises those who lost their lives, were injured and were affected by both bombings.
Four identical windows have been designed to be placed in the Central Library Omagh, Scoil Iosagain Primary School Buncrana and the Diamond Centre, Claudy, and Madrid.
At 2.30pm members of Omagh Support and Self Help Group will lay flowers in the memorial garden to remember the victims of the Omagh bomb, and all victims of international terrorism worldwide.
The group aims to provide everyone in the garden with an individual rose to lay. Anyone who wishes to lay a wreath at this time is more than welcome to do so. Everyone will then walk to the library for the unveiling.
Everyone is welcome to come along and join the families on Sunday to remember and honour all those who died in the atrocity and those who are still suffering.
