Individual awards to families of the bomb victims
Mark Breslin - Mr Breslin's wife died in the explosion. He was awarded agreed damages for dependency of �160,000. He is entitled to bereavement damages at �7,500 and funeral expenses of �1298.50 to which interest should be added. The judge made an award of �5,000 to the estate to reflect pain and suffering leading up to death. He assessed general damages at �60,000 to which he added a figure of �30,000 to represent aggravated damages.
Marion Radford - Marion Radford was shopping with her son Alan on the day of the bomb. He was killed and she was injured by flying glass. Mr Justice Morgan said that her life has been drastically affected by the bombing. He assessed general damages at �100,000 to which he added �30,000 to represent aggravated damages. He also made a further award in respect of funeral expenses at �760 and damages for bereavement at �7,500.
Paul Radford - Paul Radford is the son of Marian Radford. Mr Justice Morgan assessed damages at �75,000 and awarded a further sum of �30,000 by way of aggravated damages.
Stanley McCombe - Mr McCombe's wife died in the explosion. Mr Justice Morgan assessed general damages at �75,000 to which he added �30,000 for aggravated damages. He also awarded agreed damages of �225,000 for dependency together with a further award of �7,500 by way of bereavement damages and agreed funeral expenses of �2510.95.
Michael Gallagher - Michael Gallagher's son Aidan died in the explosion. The judge assessed general damages at �75,000 to which he added �30,000 to represent aggravated damages.
Kathy Gallagher - Kathy Gallagher was the sister of Aidan Gallagher who died in the explosion. Mr Justice Morgan assessed general damages at �50,000 and added �30,000 for aggravated damages.
Edmund Gibson - Edmund Gibson's sister died in the explosion. He was a police officer at the time. He resigned from the police service suffering an agreed loss of �31,300. The judge assessed general damages at �60,000 to which he added �30,000 by way of aggravated damages.
Godfrey Wilson - Godfrey Wilson's daughter Lorraine died in the explosion. Mr Justice Morgan assessed general damages at �75,000 and awarded aggravated damages of �30,000. He made a further award of �7,500 by way of bereavement damages and �2689.47 in respect of funeral expenses.
Gary Wilson - Gary Wilson's sister Lorraine died in the explosion. The judge assessed general damages at �50,000 and awarded a further sum of �30,000 by way of aggravated damages.
Colin Wilson - Colin Wilson was 10 years old at the time of the bomb and the sister of Lorraine Wilson who died. The judge assessed general damages at �40,000 to which he added �30,00 by way of aggravated damages.
