LOCAL PEOPLE HAVE BEEN CURIOUS TO KNOW WHAT IS HAPPENING AT THE OMAGH BOMB MEMORIAL
Locals people have been curious to know what is happening at the Omagh bomb memorial this week as cherry pickers have been used to lift workmen up to the mirrors. A spokesperson from Omagh District Council explained that the mirrors are being adjusted in order to reflect sunlight to the crystal memorial containing the glass heart on Market Street. She added that the artist Sean Hillen who designed the memorial knew this work needed to be completed and at last has the fine weather and sunshine to carry out the operation. Following a beautiful sunny day on Tuesday morning, workmen were correcting the mirrors to the light reflectors at the Omagh Bomb Memorial. As men worked away passers-by shouted up "It will never work you know!"
