GORMLEY'S NEWSAGENTS NEW OWNERS, SAME NAME

Gormley's Newsagents, new owners, same name

GORMLEYS Newsagents, situated on Castle Street Omagh has witnessed many changes over the seventy five years that it has been open.
Now, in 2004 it has undergone a radical change of its own.
In July the Gormley family handed over the running of the store to Donna-Marie and Gary McGillion.
Whilst the McGillions will continue to run the business under the Gormley name they also intend to introduce a few changes of their own, as they told the Ulster Herald "Gormley's is already an existing business, we see it as a positive challenge."
Not only will they continue to offer the staple goods that Gormley's have provided throughout the years, bread, milk, newspapers, stationery and confectionery, as well as the Lotto and top up payzone but they will soon introduce "The Ultimate Party Experience," which entails a wedding stationary consult, fancy dress hire and toys.
To celebrate their new venture the McGillions are running a prize draw, with prizes that include a TV and DVD combo, a DVD player, a Micro Music System and a Cookware Set.
They will also be offering a large range of Back to School specials, including Lever Arch Files, buy one get one free, at 99p each, a filled pencil case for 99p and a boys and girls stationary set for 99p.
