DETAILS OF SPANISH CHILDREN AMONGST FIRST TO BE HEARD
Details of Spanish children amongst first to be heard

THE six inquest hearings planned for today include those dealing with the two young Spanish victims who had been on an exchange visit to Donegal.
Prior to the commencement of the first inquest at 10am this morning, a short inter-denominational service will be held in the youth wing of Omagh Leisure Centre.
Throughout the morning, Coroner John Leckey will hear details relating to the deaths of Gareth Conway, Esther Gibson, Julia Hughes and Sean McGrath. In the afternoon reports on Spanish teacher, Rocio Abad Ramos and 12-year-old student, Fernando Baselga will be dealt with.
Friday has been set aside to deal with evidence from further police witnesses. Additional witnesses will be heard on Monday.
Also on Monday, the inquest into the death of father and son, Fred and Bryan White will take place.
Tuesday sees evidence relating to the deaths of Philomena Skelton, Veda Short, Debra-Ann Cartwright, Ann McCombe and Libby Rushe.
The following day, inquests on friends, Samantha McFarland and Lorraine Wilson will take place, along with those on the three generations of the one family, Mary Grimes, her daughter Avril Monaghan and her baby Maura. A decision has yet to be made on whether the unborn twin girls Avril had been carrying will he included in the proceedings.
It is hoped to proceed on Thursday with details on Brian McCrory, Brenda Logue, Geraldine Breslin, Adrian Gallagher and Jolene Marlow. While inquests on Breda Devine, Alan Radford and Olive Hawkes are due to take place on Friday week.
The following week evidence will be heard relating to the deaths of the three schoolboys who had travelled to the town from Buncrana, James Barker, Shaun McLaughlin and Oran Doherty.
Counsel to the Coroner Gemma Loughran pointed out that this was a provisional timetable which had been set out to deal with the remainder of the hearing.
