Triese has shown courage, forgiveness, tolerance and generosity since she was injured in the Omagh bomb. She has overcome her own problems by not dwelling on herself but by showing understanding and care to others. She loves reading, drama and has done exceptionally well in her mock GCSE's. Mrs McCormick, the former principal at St Brigid's High School, says that Triese was an inspiration to her during that heartbreaking time.
