BOMB SCARE BRINGS OMAGH TO A HALT YET AGAIN

Bomb scare brings to a halt yet again

Omagh town centre was once again brought to a stand still yesterday for over three hours by a bombscare in Market Street.
A police spokesperson said that a male caller claiming to be from the Continuity IRA made a call at 3.21pm and said that there was a bomb in the town with the explosion due to go off at 5.30pm.
The surrounding area was sealed off while a security operation was carried out in the area.
