Work to start on bomb site
THE rebuilding of the town's Market Street has been raised during a special meeting of Omagh District Council.
The Council's Chief Executive, John McKinney told members that the rebuilding at the Anderson's site on Market Street would commence shortly.
Proposals for the site on opposite corner, which would incorperate the community house, were in the final stages of redesign following the recent withdrawal of one landowner from the original joint proposal.
He drew members attention to the level of work associated with the taking forwards of an integrated scheme involving several landlords.
