Liverpool tickets to go on sale next week
PLANS for the sale and allocation of tickets for the third of Omagh Town's high profile friendly games in aid of the Omagh Fund have just been unveiled by the club.
The £12 and £10 tickets for the Liverpool game on Monday, October 18, are to go on sale on Tuesday evening at St. Julian's Road.
"There will be no other outlet," warned manager, Roy McCreadie, this week. "The ticket office is inside the ground, and we are attempting to entice fans to come out and support their local club against the First Division favourites, Ards."
The procedure will be repeated a week on Tuesday, when Bangor are the visitors to St. Julian's Road.
"It's another clash with one of the teams highly fancied for promotion. Once again the ticket office will be open from 6pm until half-time (8.15pm), and once again all applicants will be limited to four tickets," said McCreadie.
Admission to each Irish League game is £4 (standing) and £5 (seated), but fans who have already paid for their Liverpool tickets will receive them through the post within seven days, the Town chief assured the 'Ulster Herald'.
McCreadie appealed to would-be spectators for the game with the Anfield giants, which kicks off at 6pm, not to 'clog up' the club's telephone lines.
"We will adhere rigidly to the groundlines we have laid down. There will be no telephone sales, and no sales from our social club in Sedan Avenue," he said.
