Bridge evening raises �885 for Omagh Fund
AN ENTERTAINING evening was held in the Silverbirch Hotel last week and all in aid of a good cause.
The Omagh Bridge club hosted the highly successful evening which saw bridge enthusiasts from a wide area get together and raise �885 for the Omagh Fund.
The organisers are very grateful to all who made the evening such a success, particularly Paddy Carr and Ethne Loughrey and the management of the Silverbirches.
Winners of the tournament were Omagh born, William Dukelow and his bridge partner, Margaret Reid, who play most of the bridge in Belfast.
Other leading scorers were:
2nd: P Bergin and Fr J McGonigle
3rd: J McQuaide and C Shannon
4th: S Crawford and P Fitzharris
5th: F Houston and M Hannigan
6th Mr and Mrs Sam Dukelow
