FASHION SHOW FUNDRAISER
A FUNDRAISING fashion show and concert in Derry has been held to raise money for the victims of the Omagh bombing.
The fashion show, held in the Playhouse Theatre in Derry, was attended by several hundred people and all proceeds have been donated to the Omagh Memorial Fund.
The show was organised by Jeanette Warke of Adair's in Derry and Strabane businessman Colin McLaughlin, who has menswear shops in the town and in Derry, and by other fashion traders on Carlisle Road.
One of the shops supplying clothing was Mcllwaine's Bridal Fashions and star model on the night was Radio Presenter, Gerry Anderson.
Many of the leading fashion companies supplied clothing' free of charge for the show.
A concert was also held last night (Wed) at the Rialto in Derry where clothing given free of charge to the fashion show was sold off.
Among the top names at the concert were Dickie Rock and the Colmcille Choir.
