THOUGHTS FROM CO. CLARE

Thoughts from Co. Clare

DEAR SIR - As two people living in a small village in County Clare, we feel a need to write to your paper. We both have spent some of the best times of our life working in Omagh and its environs which we still love to visit and meet with our life-long friends. We were always met with
friendliness, warmth and good cheer and it is because of all this we were shocked and indeed devastated at the tragedy of last month. We
wish to express our sincere hope that this is the end of the dreadful atrocities your readers have had to endure over the last many years and
extend our sympathy to those bereaved and injured, especially as a result of this dreadful bombing. Our prayers are with you all and may we hope and pray that there may be a new beginning ahead.
Faithfully yours,
BRENDAN DALY,
UNA McINERNEY,
Tulla, Co. Clare.
