BUCHANAN EXTENDS SYMPATHY ON TENTH ANNIVERSARY OF OMAGH BOMB
Buchanan extends sympathy on tenth anniversary of Omagh bomb
WEST Tyrone DUP MLA, Mr Tom Buchanan has extended his sympathy to all those affected by the Omagh bomb on its tenth Anniversary.
Mr Buchanan said, "As we approach the tenth anniversary of the terrorist bombing in Omagh town centre, on Saturday August 15, I wish again to extend my sympathy to all those who lost loved ones in the atrocity and also to those who still suffer the physical and mental scars as a result of the bomb that Saturday afternoon.
"For all those who suffered as a result of that day, the tenth anniversary like every anniversary will bring back to them the awful events of that day. It will be a difficult for everyone and for all the town of Omagh as we recall what happened to our fellow townsfolk by the cowards who planted the bomb that day.
"I again pledge my support for this pursuit of justice for all those who have been affected by the bomb that day. Over this tenth anniversary period, my thoughts and prayers will be with all those who have been affected and those many who are still suffering the scars that that day brought."
