Speakers pay tribute to Mick Grimes at book launch
NOBEL Peace Prize winner John Hume was among the audience at Omagh library for the launch of 'Till We Meet Again' written by Beragh pensioner Mick Grimes.
Mick lost three generations of his family - wife, daughter and grandchildren - in the Omagh bomb and has launched his book a week before the tenth anniversary of the atrocity.
Speakers at Omagh library paid poignant tribute to the 83-year-old retired farmer who has produced an account of life as it used to be in rural Tyrone. He also describes the loss of his family members and the days since the tragedy.
A member of the party of Spanish visitors who were in the town on the day of the bombing attended the launch, as well as local people who were injured in the blast.
'Till We Meet Again' is available locally and at selected bookshops and newsagents nationwide.
