MISSING SON MAKES CONTACT
Missing son makes contact
THE 20-year old son of Philomena (Mena) Skelton who lost her life in the Omagh bomb in August 1998 and who has been missing since the beginning of November last year has made contact with the family.
Raymond Skelton, a painter and joiner from Drumquin, gave his family no indication he was going away and, since then, his family had heard nothing from him. Indirectly, they were led to believe he was in a number of places.
This week, his father, Kevin confirmed that his son had posted a Christmas Card from London. He described this development as, 'a massive relief' although he and his other children are anxious to know more.
"I know Raymond is somewhere in London but it would have been nice if he'd had come home for Christmas. At the moment we don't know exactly where he is, whether he's in a hostel or a B & B. The not knowing is the worst part.
"The (Christmas) Card is reassuring but it would be better to talk to him so we know he's all right".
