OUR THOUGHTS ARE WITH EVERYONE AT HOME
Our thoughts are with everyone at home
I am writing not to comment on the article written about the Omagh bomb, but just to make a short note about the significance of August 15th in everyone's lives. I am from Omagh. I recently moved to New York with two of my friends (also from Omagh). On Wednesday 15th August 2001, we went about our daily lives (as they are now in the Big Apple), but as we all got up that morning we talked about that terrible day three years ago. One of my friends was in the town centre the day of the explosion,we all deal with our grief in our own way. I just wanted to let you know, that it doesn't matter where you were that day, or where you are today, we must all remember what we have lost as a town and fight to make sure that this type of thing never happens again. Even though we were in New York this year, our thoughts were with those at home, all those who had lost loved ones three years ago. We are thinking of you all, and we are praying for peace.
