Burns specialist set to return
A LEADING burns surgeon, who treated victims of the Omagh bombing, is to return to the North two months after quitting his post here. Kalid Khan, who left Northern Ireland to work in Nottingham, is to set up a breast reconstruction service at the City Hospital in July. Dr Khan, who was Northern Ireland's only specialist burns surgeon, left for a post in Nottingham after initially indicating he would stay here.
Among his patients were victims of the 1998 Omagh bomb atrocity.
