Events affected by the foot and mouth situation
A charity play performance planned for this Saturday night has been called off due to the Foot and Mouth scare.
Tyholland Dramatic Society were to stage 'Don't Tell the Wife' on Saturday for the Marie Curie Cancer charity but current circumstances have caused a temporary postponement.
Tickets already sold will be valid for the rescheduled Show, details of which will be made available as soon as possible.
The annual talent talent competition organised by Spamount Community Association has been cancelled due to the current foot and mouth situation.
The competition, which was to have started on Wednesday week and run for seven weeks, has now been postponed until further notice.
Due to the current situation with foot-and-mouth disease, West Tyrone Ramblers have reminded members that there will be no walks until further notice.
A stone-laying ceremony due to take place at the Community House development at the site of the Omagh bombing has had to be cancelled.
The ceremony was due to have taken place on Friday.
Parent-teacher meetings at schools in the area were also affected by the scare. Many were cancelled until a later date in a bid to halt any possible spread of the disease.
Postal deliveries to farms in the area have been suspended. Post Office officials have asked affected customers to make alternative arrangements for the collection of mail.
The sale of tickets for Loughmacrory draw have also been suspended until further notice.
