Donegal supporter takes long route to Healy Park
A DONEGAL supporter has found an alternative mode of transport for Sunday week's National Football League clash between Tyrone and his native county at Healy Park - and all for a worthwhile cause.
Pete Boyle, from Carrick, will undertake a sponsored cycle from Buncrana to Omagh on Saturday week, a journey of fifty miles, with all proceeds going to the Omagh Fund .
Pete had organised charity cycle runs in the past , last year cycling to the Ulster Championship sem-final and final in Clones to watch his beloved Donegal and raising fund's for the Letterkenny Hospital Catscan Appeal in the process.
The cyclist is appealing for financial assistance for his endeavour and is also looking for B&B sponsorship for his stay in Omagh on Saturday night.
Pete will be distributing sponsorship cards to various business and public houses in the Omagh vicinity over the next week and will also be holding a gate collection at Healy Park on the day of the match.
