Employees from Desmond and Sons twelve Northern Ireland sites presented a cheque for �23,000 to John McKinney, Chief Executive of Omagh District Council for the Omagh Memorial Fund. Most of the money was raised through individual donations and from the charity chests of each of the warehouses and factories. A further �10,000 was donated by the company itself.
