Recently representatives of Whitley F.C in Coventry visited Omagh where they took part in a match against an Omagh & District Church League side at the local leisure centre. The English youth team were visiting to play games both here and Buncrana to show their support for the victims of the recent bombing. In the photo Whitley officials are seen handing over a ball, autographed by Premier league side Coventry City F.C, which is to be raffled to raise money for the Omagh Fund . Among those included are home team captain Stephen O'Doherty, Michael Kelly (second right), manager of the church league side, and Brendan Johns (right) who officiated at the game. The Omagh team has been invited over to Coventry for a return fixture some time in the New Year.
