Mulan showing benefits Omagh Memorial Fund

The Cinemagic International Film Festival for Young People has raised �1,100 in aid of the Omagh Memorial Fund with a special charity screening of Walt Disney latest release "Mulan". And the life-sized Disney dragon "Mushu" will also be donated to the children's ward at Tyrone County Hospital, courtesy of Buena Vista International (Ireland). Photographed at the launch of the Cinemagic Programme are Omagh District Councillor, Oliver Gibson, Mayor of Belfast David Alderice and Festival Manager, Frances Cassidy with children from Belfast schools. Speaking at the launch, Councillor Gibson said "The people of Omagh are very touched and grateful that Cinemagic has decided to donate the proceeds from this screening to the Omagh Memorial Fund." And he suggested that next year the festival could visit Omagh and bring a little magic to the young people of the town.
