Cheque presentation
THE recently formed Omagh Support and Help Group, set up to assist those bereaved, injured or traumatised by the Market Street bomb in Omagh on August 15 last year, has benefited from a donation of �500.
The donation was made by members of Omagh Vintage Car Club, from the proceeds of a 'peace run' held in Omagh.
The cheque was presented to the chairman and vice-chairman of Omagh Support and Self Help Group, Michael Gallagher and Stanley McCombe, respectively, by Stephen McCabe, the event organiser, and Cathal McEnhill, a friend of the Gallagher family.
The members of the self-help group have thanked the vintage club for their donation and support.
