A group of freemasons from the Omagh area led by the Provincial Grand Master, Right Worshipful Brother W J E Dukelow, met in the Omagh District Council Offices this week, to hand over to the Omagh Fund, cheques contributed by freemasons worldwide. As well as that, previously given by the Grand Lodge of Ireland, one of the earliest contributions to the Fund, was a cheque of £100 from a Saudi Arabian lodge which works under the American Canadian Grand Lodge based in Frankfurt, Germany and are from the freemasons of Limerick for £IR 100. These were handed over to Worshipful brother Allan Rainey, Vice-Chairman of the District Council by the Provincial Grand Master. A further cheque for £200 from the Grand Council of Knight Masons of Ireland was handed over by the Junior Grand Deacon of the Grand Lodge of Ireland, Very Worshipful Brother, John Hadden. Included in the photograph is John McKinney, the Council's Chief Executive.
