PHYLLIS MATES AND CARMEL BURKE FROM AVOCA
Phyllis Mates and Carmel Burke, fron Avoca, County Wicklow, presenting a cheque for �8,856 for the Omagh Fund to the chairman of the Council, Sean Clarke. The money was raised by a fund-raising committee which organised a dance, auction and a door-to-door collection. Also in the picture are some members of the committee, who came to Omagh to had over the cheque, two of the Omagh victims who were injured in the Omagh bombing and the vice-chairman, Allan Rainey.
