SENT FROM COVENTRY

Omagh people living in Coventry have come together with a wide cross-section of the community to form the "Omagh Victims Support Fund Coventry Appeal".
The aims of the appeal are to provide financial help, support and empathy for all affected by the Omagh tragedy.
A variety of fund-raising events have already taken place, and plans are afoot for many more in the coming months. On last Saturday (14th November), saw a gathering at St. Finbarr's, Coventry's premier Irish Club, and monies raised there should certainly add to the money raised already.
Hugh Mullin, Chairman of both the Coventry Appeal Committee and the Coventry Tyrone Association, said: "this tragedy has touched the lives of many; everyone wants to do what they can to help, and this has been reflected in their concern and generosity." .
