BAGATELLE TO APPEAR IN INF

Bagatelle to appear in INF

A CONCERT featuring the highly popular band, Bagatelle will be held in Omagh at the beginning of December, with the proceeds going to the Bomb Victims Fund and the hospital.
The evening, which is being organised by the community group, Omawest, is guaranteed to be a big success.
Bagatelle are celebrating twenty years in the music business and are doing a 20th birthday world tour.
They were asked by the community group to Include Omagh in their tour and they did so without hesitation. They are not charging a customary fee just expenses.
According to the manager, Omagh has always had a strong fan base for the band, and they felt great sympathy for the people at the time of the bomb.
The world tour takes in dates in Dubai, America, Macau and Hong Kong as well as gigs in Ireland.
Fans of Bagatelle will be surprised to realise that 1998 is the bands 20th anniversary year. Looking back over the years, it seems as though Bagatelle's songs are as eternal as time.
The band recorded the classic 'Summer In Dublin' in 1978. 'Leeson Street Lady', 'Second Violin' and 'Raining in Paris' were also major hits.
Omawest has secured the INF in Omagh for the 6th December - it has also been offered free of charge.
Paddy Hunter of Omawest said he is looking forward to a good turnout on the night, not just to hear a first class band, but to support a very worthy cause.
Next week there will be a competition with tickets for the Bagatelle function up for grabs.
