TRIAL DATE FOR BOMB ACCUSED POSTPONED

Trial date for bomb accused postponed

THE DATE scheduled for the trial of the man accused of the Omagh bomb has been postponed again.
February 29th next year had been set for the trial of Colm Murphy with an address at Jordan's Corner, Ravensdale, Co. Louth, who is charged
with conspiring in Dundalk with another person not before the court to cause an explosion between 13-16th August 1998. He is also charged
with being a member of an illegal organisation namely Oglaigh na hEireann.
Evidence against the 46 year old former Co Armagh man was due to start, but on Monday the court relisted the case for March 7th, when a new trial date will be fixed.
