I watched the tv programme about Omagh and it really touched my heart especially to see the Skelton family. I am from Fintona and now living in Preston. A lot of English people could not believe the way the injured could talk about their loss. I was very proud off the Skelton sisters especially Shauna. Our thoughts and prayers will always be with you all, and the world will never forget. Let us hope peace comes.
Omagh was the best town in Tyrone. Good luck and God bless you all.

The following is an anniversary prayer which, together with a number of readings, has been sent to all churches in the area for inclusion in their morning worship services on Sunday, August 15.
In the comfort of your love we pour out to you, O Lord
The memories that haunt us, The anxieties that perplex us,
The fears that stifle us,
The sickness that prevails upon us,
And the frustration of all the pain that weaves
about and within us.
Lord, help us to see your peace in our turmoil,
Your compassion in our sorrow,
Your forgiveness in our weakness,
And your love in our need.
Touch us, O Lord, with your healing power and strength,
Make us your peace-makers, And grant us the help of your Holy Spirit to build a renewed community
Where love and righteousness reign.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
