SYMPATHY NOTICE OMAGH COLLEGE
From the Governing Body of Omagh College, on behalf of the Staff and Students of the College.
The Governing Body wishes to express its sympathy to all those in our community, and including those of our own present and past students and staff, who have been bereaved and who have suffered injury in last Saturday's awful incident.
We give thanks for the work of the ordinary people of Omagh who have made themselves available to do what they could. We give thanks for the work of professionals on whom such a heavy burden suddenly fell: the Ambulance, Fire and Police services: the medical and administrative staff of the Hospital and Health Centre; Social Services; staff of Omagh District Council and the Leisure Centre and of Voluntary bodies. We do not forget that, while they have worked with high professionalism, they are also ordinary people caught with the same emotions and fears in respect of family and friends as the rest of us.
