Survivor recalls carnage
DEAR EDITOR,
Please let me say that as a witness and a very lucky survivor to the terrible murdering atrocity of last Saturday's carnage, I cannot express the overwhelming feeling of sadness I have for all those concerned.
I have seen sights that no one should ever see and I never ever want to see them again as long as I live. I am still stunned and shocked at the horror and terror I saw on everyone's face, children and adults, no one knew what was happening. Those who caused this mayhem should never ever be allowed to walk freely again, they must never be allowed to see daylight as long as they live.
They are evil people, I hope they burn in Hell. I also feel that nobody should ever be allowed to forget this slaughter. I want to see a permanent monument put up in the middle of lower Market Street and I hope that no other car would ever be allowed to drive up that part of the street again. Pedestrianise the street so we can always pay tribute to those poor people who lost their lives and their limbs on their souls rest in peace and may their loss of life bring peace to all those survivors who will never forget them.
