THINKING OF OMAGH

Thinking of Omagh

Dear Sir,
Little did I think when saying goodbye to friends in Omagh on Saturday what the day would bring. It is with a heavy heart that I write to send my deepest sympathy after this pitiless attack.
There can not be one person in Omagh who has not been touched by this appalling tragedy. My family and many friends ask to join with your in your grief and shock. I know our own Church here was only one of so very many that joined in prayer; we can only hope and pray that some comfort and healing will come through God's grace and the loving support of friends and neighbours.
I know the Omagh people to be the kindest and bravest. Never was that spirit more cruelly tested.
Words can not describe my sorrow.
Yours sincerely,
DEBORAH CASSIDI,
(widow of Dr. Anthony Pollock)
