ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS OLIVE HAWKES

The husband Percy, son Mark, daughter Mandy and son-in-law Mervyn and entire family circle wish to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to all of those who sympathised with them in there recent tragic loss of a very special wife, mother and friend, Olive. As a family it seems quite an impossible task to pay tribute to all the individuals who have supported us through this horrific period however for now we wish to mentions all of the friends, neighbours and strangers who helped in such a practical manner at the family home, sent sympathy messages, laid flowers in remembrance and gave donations in lieu of Action Cancer which was a very special charity of Olives'. Also the many other clergy and voluntary workers including the Leisure Centre staff. The grave digger and caretaker of Cappagh Parish Church and the undertaker Mr John Anderson, whose manner was so respectful and sensitive. In closing we trust that we have not neglected anyone but wish to add a very special thank-you to the RUC to whom we are eternally grateful in particular the family liaison officer, Mr Alan McGonigle, and the Rev. Tom Stevenson whom we met as strangers but will forever remain friends and Miss Joan Clements whose guidance and support was immense. Trusting this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
