FINTONA UNITED IN SORROW

Fintona united in sorrow

THE town of Fintona came to a standstill on Saturday afternoon when a crowd estimated at over two thousand attended "An Act of Reflection" in the local Ecclesville Centre. The Service, which was organised by the Fintona Clergy after the Omagh tragedy, included Hymns, Prayers and Psalms, with the names of the dead read out at 3.10 p.m. when the Church of Ireland bell rang out thirty times, one toll for each of the deceased.
