Celtic set up trust fund

A SCOTTISH-IRISH Omagh fund has be set up to raise money for the victims of last Saturday's bombing.
The establishment of the fund was announced recently by former Celtic director and businessman Brian Dempsey.
A minimum of £50,000 has been guaranteed from a special gala performance of The Celtic Story, the hugely successful musical based on the famous Glasgow club's history.
The money raised by the performance in Dublin's Gaiety Theatre on September 13 will be passed on to victims of the blast which killed 28 people and injured more than 200. Members of the public will be able to contribute to the fund and further details will be announced at a later date.
One man is believed to have been arrested and three other fans are under investigation after allegedly disrupting the one-minute silence in memory of the victims of the Omagh bombing.
The alleged incidents took place moments before Celtic were due to play Dundee United at Celtic Park on Saturday. It is thought all four were Celtic supporters.
