NEWTON EVENTS SUSPENDED
Newton events suspended
ALL competitions in Newtownstewart were suspended last weekend. Today (Thursday) the ladies open foursomes takes places and on Saturday the men's open fourball betterball will be played.
The council met on Monday night for their monthly meeting when a two minutes silence was observed as a mark of respect for those killed in the Omagh bomb. A vote of sympathy was passed to members affected by the tragedy and to the community in general.
