Alice Milligan Summer School cancelled
AS a mark of respect for those bereaved and injured in the Omagh bomb, the Alice Milligan Summer School has been cancelled.
The event was due to begin yesterday and run until Sunday next. An event organiser said that as tickets had been sold for the Stockon's Wing concert which was supposed to take place yesterday, the money could be refunded by contacting members of the Alice Milligan Society.
However, he said that any ticket money which was unclaimed would be donated to the Omagh Memorial Fund which had been set up at the emergency meeting of Omagh District Council on Monday last.
He went on to express the Society's sincere sympathy to all those who were bereaved or injured and those who suffered in any way in the bomb.
