Philadelphia women play tribute to home town
OVER 3,000 miles from home, two former Omagh women this week paid their own personal tribute to those killed and injured in the bombing.
Kate McCrystal (nee McEnhill), originally from Gortrush Park and her friend, Karen Allison (nee McCrory) held a candlelight vigil in Philadelphia to coincide with a similar event in their hometown.
The pair also distributed collection boxes throughout Irish bars and institutions in the US city.
Monies collected will be donated towards the memorial fund set up in the wake of the bombing.
