Sinn Fein Assembly men extend sympathy
SINN FEIN'S West Tyrone assemblymen have expressed their sympathy to the families of those killed in Saturday's bomb and to those injured in the atrocity.
Barry McElduff said "Everyone who has been killed, maimed or injured are our people. The predominant feeling at this time is one of great sadness.
"All of us are affected in a deep way, the human and social costs of this tragedy are really huge.
Mr McElduff expressed his support and sympathy for all those killed and those hurt in the bomb.
"I knew many of these good people. All who died are our people, I must emphasise."
Meanwhile, it has emerged that fellow Assemblyman, Pat Doherty, the Vice- President of the party cut short a foreign holiday to return to Omagh to give his support to the people.
Mr Doherty had just arrived in Portugal when he learned of what he described as the "atrocity" in Omagh.
"It was just unbelievable" said the leading Sinn Fein figure.
Mr Doherty arrived in Omagh on Monday. He has expressed his condolences to the families of the bereaved and expressed sympathy to all those injured in the explosion.
