Councillor's son among those being questioned by Police
The teenage son of Francis Mackey, is one of five people being questioned at Castlereagh about the Omagh bomb.
19 year old Shane Mackey, a son of Omagh councillor, Francis Mackey, was arrested in a dawn raid at his home on Monday.
The student is believed to have been at his part-time job nearby when the 500lb bomb detonated in Omagh's afternoon.
Five people were arrested when the RUC swooped on homes in Omagh town, Mountfield and Sixmilecross.
Councillor Mackey speaking hours after the arrest at a press conference on Monday afternoon at Omagh Council offices protested his son's innocence and accused the RUC of harassment.
He confirmed that Shane had been arrested at 7am that morning and said his son had nothing to do with the bombing.
He accused the government, and particularly the RUC, of demonising him because of his honest and open Republican analysis and political opinion.
"The reaction to the tragedy in Omagh has been to come to my house and raid it and arrest my teenage son, who has nothing to do with it.
"Each and every person who elected me knows that I have never at any stage in my life had any involvement in any military activity. They know my family. What has taken place today is harassment of myself and my family."
