POLICE have identified three more terrorist suspects thought to have been involved in the Omagh bombing.
Gardai have pieced together detailed profiles of the bombers' movements through analysis of mobile phone records on August 15, 1998, the day of the blast.
The suspected Real IRA dissidents, who were not previously linked with the organisation, will top the agenda of a joint summit of high-ranking RUC and Garda officers. Their names emerged during a broader inquiry into the terrorist organisation, which recently stepped up its bombing campaign in the UK.
A plot by the dissidents to blow up loyalist Apprentice Boys as they marched through Derry on Saturday was foiled last week when police found a 500lb car bomb after a high-speed chase through the city.
Officers are still hunting for the driver of the vehicle, who escaped in Donegal.
