A MAN being sued for �10million by families of people killed in the Omagh bomb atrocity yesterday admitted to being a member of the Real IRA.
Seamus Daly, 33, from Castleblaney, Co Monaghan, pleaded guilty at the Special Criminal Court in Dublin to membership of an illegal organisation on November 20, 2000.
Daly was remanded on bail of �120,000 until Tuesday when he is expected to be sentenced.
The prosecution said another charge of membership of an illegal organisation over a period of time had been replaced by the present one which refers to a specific date.
Twenty-nine people, as well as unborn twins, died in the 1998 car bomb.
