Bomb victims' lawyers suspect Omagh five of trying to hide assets

A CONVICTED Omagh terrorist has tried to stash his cash by signing over his assets in advance of a trial.
Lawyers suspect other individuals among the five accused - who were served with writs this week - have handed over property, businesses and cash to relatives in a bid to escape payouts if huge compensations claims against them are successful.
Investigating legal teams are now working to discover the hidden wealth and what could be recovered.
Jailed terrorist Colm Murphy has signed his house and company share over to his wife Anne, 52, and bank account money to other relatives.
But last night bereaved father Michael Gallagher, said: "This has never been about money. It's about justice."
