Writs for Omagh suspects
FAMILIES of the Omagh dead began legal action yesterday against five men they believe carried out the atrocity.
Writs were served on Seamus McKenna. Seamus Daly. Michael McKevitt and Liam Campbell. Colm Murphy, the only man to be convicted in connection with the bombing, has yet to be served.
The civil case will start at the High Court in Belfast next year. Michael Gallagher, whose son Aidan died in the blast in August 1998, said it was the first step on the road to justice.
