Real IRA conmen targeted
By KEN FOXE
DETECTIVES are targeting two top criminals they believe are working with the Real IRA to sell pirate CDs and computer games.
One is based in Dublin and the other in Dundalk, Co Louth.
Both are under surveillance and were directly in charge of counterfeit operations smashed by Gardai near the border in recent weeks.
Police sources say they were behind last week's embarrassing raid on Gardai when 100,000 worth of counterfeit goods were taken back from police.
The Dundalk man is one of a group called the Brothers Grimm, all linked to the Real IRA.
At least one of them has been arrested and questioned in connection with the Omagh bombing.
A source said: "If people aren't put off buying these goods for the obvious reasons, then they should think twice about lining the pockets of the Real IRA.
"Punters should remember they could actually be paying for another Omagh bomb."
