Omagh dad's plea to Real IRA bomb gang
REAL IRA bombers behind the Omagh atrocity were urged last night: Come forward and end our heartache.
Michael Gallagher, whose 21-year-old son Adrian died with 28 others in the blast two years ago, spoke out after the opening day of the inquest into their deaths.
He said of the terrorists: "Maybe this might be the right time for them to come forward and give their side of the story and clear their consciences.
"Ultimately the families really need to have justice to have closure on this."
More than 50 relatives heard harrowing evidence of how the bombers phoned confusing warnings.
