MPs to expose man behind the massacre
THE man who allegedly built the bomb which killed 29 people in Omagh is to be named in the Commons.
A cross-party group of MPs plan to expose the Real IRA killer in a "name and shame" bid at Westminster tomorrow.
The terrorist is thought to be second in command in the dissident republican group.
The MPs are also threatening to identify paramilitaries they claim have orchestrated a wave of shootings and beatings across Northern Ireland.
Andrew Hunter, vice-chairman of the Conservatives' Northern Ireland Committee, said: "Decisions still have to be made about how we intend to do this, but the Intention is to name and shame these people.
"By naming people in the House of Commons attention can be focused on the appalling reality of what is happening."
"There is great anger and frustration that no charges have been brought when there is a clear understanding of who was involved in the Omagh atrocity."
Vincent McKenna, of the human rights group Families Against Intimidation and Terror which has compiled the list, said: "There can be no hiding place in civil society for the grim reapers of murder and mutilation.
"If we are not going to get these people through the courts we are going to name them and shame them and get their communities to shun them."
Police believe they know the six men involved in the Real IRA outrage but don't have enough evidence to bring them to justice.
Mr McKenna said there will be names "known to people in certain circles but there might be some surprises as well".
The politicians will also reveal the identity of an IRA fascist police chief.
The 28-year-old was released from jail last September under the terms of the Good Friday Agreement and has reportedly resumed his role as head of gangster terrorism in south Belfast.
He is one of 12 republican and loyalist terrorists who look set to be exposed by MPs.
The men are all believed to be ringleaders in the recent wave of violent attacks across Northern Ireland.
The list names the killer of Belfast man Andrew Kearney who was beaten, shot in both legs and left to bleed to death.
Godfather
It includes the names of the UFF godfather and IRA terror boss and an Armagh IRA activist, recently under threat of death himself for running off with another IRA man's wife.
The south Belfast former prisoner - nicknamed the Beatings Boss - served time for grievous bodily harm, inflicted during an IRA assault in which a young man had his head smashed with an iron bar.
He left the Maze prison in early September.
Security sources believe he immediately returned to orchestrating the IRA's so-called punishment attacks in Belfast's Short Strand and Markets areas.
