COLE SCORES WITH VISIT TO OMAGH

Cole scores with visit to Omagh
By GEORGE JACKSON

MANCHESTER United striker Andy Cole met victims of the Omagh bomb yesterday and confessed: "They touched my heart. I've never had such an emotional experience."
Just hours before the August 15 blast which killed 29 people and injured 320, the town's supporters' club had presented him with an award as their Player of the Year.
Yesterday, Andy had a private meeting with relatives at a secret location in Omagh.
"It should have been a happy day for me getting the award, but it was heartbreaking to find out that it could have been their families or friends who died in the blast.
He said: "The day of the blast in Omagh, the Omagh branch of the Manchester United Supporters' Club came over and awarded me with the club's Player of the Year for last season.
"So I decided that as they appreciated me last season for doing so well for Manchester United, the least thing 1 could have done was come, over here and show that I appreciate them."
He added: "I have never faced anything like this in my life."
Andy also visited Tyrone County Hospital.
