I CAN'T believe that the people who planted the bomb in Omagh have the barefaced cheek to apologise for the atrocity.
A bomb is an indiscriminate weapon that will kill all in its path, not just security forces. Planted in a busy market town on a Saturday afternoon, its victims are sure to include the innocent.
Once captured, these terrorists should be forced to face the survivors of their vile deed and the families of those they murdered. Let them apologise then.

LIKE many others, I imagine, I have been thinking- murderous thoughts about the self-styled Real IRA.
"Unreal" would better describe terrorists who kill and maim innocent women and children to further a cause that no one understands.
Why is this bloody war being waged? Not, surely, in the name of religion? There is nothing holy about murder.
We all cry out that we want the killers brought to justice, but we will all be judged in the end. Remember, the Lord said: "vengeance is mine".

Surely both Catholic and Protestant share the commandment: "Thou shalt not kill"?
